Funding Programs for International Students in Shandong University of Arts
Shandong University of Arts is located in Jinan, a famous historic and cultural city with many springs, and is the only comprehensive arts institution of higher education in Shandong Province. As one of the 6 great comprehensive art institutions in China, there are complete majors, including 50 bachelor’s degree programs involving art, literature, engineering and management. A large number of outstanding people graduated from Shandong University of Arts, including Peng Li yuan who is the wife of incumbent President of China.
Funding Program for Chinese Language Students
Language students meeting the requirements for the program can apply to Shandong University of Arts and study Chinese language; students will live in foreign students’ dorms downtown, enjoy the insurance for foreign students, and take part in cultural activities. All of these are free. (including application, accommodation, insurance and activities )
Students involved in the project must work in designated English Art Center as off-campus internship, 8 hours a week. Main work is to teach children (3 to 12 years old) spoken English or art courses (courses will be arranged according to students’ majors). In addition to assigned 8 hours of internship work, if students are willing to work more time, the center will pay corresponding subsidy.
The requirements for language students are as follows:
1.Interested in Chinese culture and art, like to learn Chinese.
2.Nationality: American, Canadian, British, Irish, Australian, New Zealander or people with English as their mother tongue.
3.At least 18 years old.
4.Graduation certificate of high school or above .
5.Outgoing, like communicating with others and getting along with children.
6.Good health.
7.Having sense of responsibility, work and do internship responsibly.
8.Students with arts specialties or volunteer teaching experience preferred.

Funding Program for Foreign Undergraduates or Postgraduates Studying in Shandong University of Arts
Students meeting the qualifications of the program can apply and study for free in Shandong University of Arts to get bachelor or master degree. They can enjoy international student insurance for overseas students and participate in kinds of cultural activities for free. At present the project is mainly open to international students who apply for majors of Music School or Music Education School. As to specific introductions of majors, please refer to Enrollment Guide of Shandong University of Arts.

Application Procedure
1.Application materials should be delivered to Shandong University of Ats as requested.
2.Shandong University of Arts receives and verifies application, and notifies applicants for network interviews.
3.After interview, Shandong University of Arts will send qualified students the letter of admission and sign fund project agreement with students.
4.Shandong University of Arts will mail students visa application form.
5.Students can go to Chinese embassies locally with visa application form and the letter of admission to apply for a visa.
